Scaffolding up! All four sides of the main building are now scaffolded, meaning the TRF guys can get on with the roof beams that stretch all the way to front of our overhanging porch, plus plenty of other things that were previously out of reach. Happily, they’ve managed to keep all of the playpark accessible, apart from the seesaw. This may change if heavy work gets too close, but the park will be open if at all possible.
Now that it’s possible to walk all the way around the building at roof level, we can really get up close and see the work that’s been done along the roof line, which is great, but of course this is all to get ready for the roof itself going on, which should be starting in the next couple of weeks.
Alongside the main building, the concrete foundations for the shed have now been laid. Eventually, the shed will have the same formed metal roof as the main building.
